• Kelowna's history is rooted in agriculture, first with ranching and then orchards and vineyards. Learn more about our agricultural roots at the BC Orchard Industry Museum and BC Wine Museum & VQA Wine Shop. • The recently renovated Laurel Packinghouse is a nationally designated heritage landmark and is the oldest and largest standing packing house in BC. • The tribes of the Okanagan First Nations were the first to call the valley home, followed by settlers and Oblate Missionaries. Travel your own route on the Heritage Driving Tour and soak up the history at your own pace. Your copy of the tour is available at the downtown Kelowna Visitor Centre and Kelowna Airport Information Kiosk.
