Tómas Torrini is a multimedia artist from Iceland, focusing on painting, songwriting and graphical design. He studied classical guitar at Tónlistarskóli Álftaness for 9 years and rythm guitar for 2 years. He is finishing Graphical Design at Borgarholtsskóli and with that working in the music festival business. He has also hosted conferences for EYP Iceland and CISV Iceland Junior Branch. He has a fiery passion for creating experiences for others, and in his personal work, wants to reflect not only his own expressions and thoughts, but also of his peers, the individuals borught up in a different millenia.

Personal Logo TT October 2020
Drawing up an original typography with it’s lateral line cut through below the cross to form a second t in the open space under the black t. the drop was added in a later revision to emphasize the aspect of mortality, that this is a living, breathing and bleeding human being.

ESTA House Logo Proposal November 2020
This logo was designed for the new ESTA building in Brussels logo competition. The logo signifies 3 main points. It aspires concentration and precision by mimicking the arch, a shape historically signifying stability and progress. Its colour choice should represented a new age in sustainability within commerce and last but not least the logo should always encourage a push forward, both in new ideas and communication.

Skjálfti Festival Logo March 2019
A reflection of an a imaginary music festival. Skjálfti (English tr.- Quake) Want’s its attendees to be shaken to their core with energetic music, consisting of rock and rap music, the logo draws inspiration from aspects of nature that shake the individual down to the bone.

IÐNÓ Reworked Logo January 2021
A reworked version of the IÐNÓ event house logo. The focus was on keeping the creative atmosphere of the building, and keeping the feeling fluid and up to pace with the new decade.

The process begins with painting an artwork where everything goes, and then photograph certain compositions within the artwork itself to create a specific story or an agenda. That is then moved into a illustration program and cleaned up.

Fridays for Future April 2019
Estonia in spring of 2019, I came across the fridays for future protest in Tartu completely by accident and took a few photos while listening to protests in a language that I did not understand. This young child played and bounced around in the space between the protesters and spectators, filling the gap and a reminder of the repercussions of ignorance.

A walk from the parking lot to prikið, a restaurant I frequently sat at and studied during my time in Borgarholtsskóli. I wanted to capture a sense of duality that the city embraces, an unruly mix of old and new buildings, and framing that implied development of the future.
