Toronto’s Santa Claus Parade spreads holiday cheer on November 15 On Sunday, November 15, 2015, the 111th annual Toronto Santa Claus Parade will take over downtown Toronto with marching bands, extravagant floats and beloved kids’ characters. The parade departs Christie Pitts at 12:30 p.m. and finishes at the St. Lawrence Market. Berczy Park on Front Street is the designated wheelchair accessible area. Here are some tips to make the most of the parade! Arrive early Plan to arrive to claim your spot along the parade route early in the day and don’t move from that spot. And remember that Toronto winds can have quite the bite, so dress warmly in layers. Locate a spot near a coffee shop or restaurant so you can get hot drinks and have bathroom breaks. There are 20+ Tim Hortons, McDonalds, and Pizza Pizza locations along the parade route. To keeps kids occupied while waiting for the parade to start, bring colouring books, and toys.
