The history of Khalil Barbershop begins in Beirut, Lebanon in 1955 where Sam’s late father, Khalil Ikkawi, opened his first Barbershop after learning the profession from his father. When the war broke out in Lebanon, it obligated the family to immigrate to Canada where Sam decided to continue doing what he loved whilst carrying his father’s legacy. Khalil Barbershop was established in August of 1990 and has been thriving ever since. 94

One of Khalil Barbershop’s very own, Adam Ikkawi, is the fourth generation barber who will carry on the Khalil Barbershop name for the Ikkawi family. Khalil Barbershop is more than just a regular barbershop, it’s a place where gentlemen become sports analysts, car enthusiasts, fashion gurus, and the list goes on.
