With a passion for helping people and making a difference in his community, William Elet came to real estate after working as a high school history teacher for 9 years. “I originally got my license in order to buy my own properties,” Williams says. “But when I sold my first home to my wife’s best friend and I saw how happy it made her, I got such a feeling of fulfillment knowing that I had helped somebody achieve their dream. I soon realized that I could have a bigger impact in the community and on people’s lives through real estate.”

As part of The Laughton Team, William serves the greater Phoenix area, including all the surrounding cities and outlying areas. All of William’s clients currently come from referrals, a testament to the trust he builds and the quality of service he provides. “I’m not in real estate for the money, I’m in it to help people out,” William explains.

William keeps those relationships going strong long after the closing. He stays in touch with his clients in a variety of ways, from handwritten cards to text messages and social media. When it comes to marketing his listings, William uses social media to ensure optimum exposure. He has also found success through sending out flyers to neighbors and the surrounding area, as well as a variety of other methods depending on the home and the community. William’s approach is custom tailored to each listing’s individual characteristics.

William loves to give back to his community any way he can. He is deeply involved in coaching high school football. When he is not working or giving back, William enjoys spending time with his daughter and his wife. “Family is everything to me,”

William says. “That’s who I strive to be the best for.”

Looking toward the future, William says, “My goal is to grow my business by reaching out and helping as many people as I can. I want to be known as a trusted REALTOR® in the greater Phoenix area that people come to for assistance. I strive to be the best in what I do, and I want to be one of the top agents in Arizona.”

For William, it all comes back to helping people. “I love meeting new people and making those connections,” he says. “We’re dealing with the biggest purchase of a person’s life, and they’re trusting us with that. There’s nothing better than seeing that joy on their face when you give them the keys, especially when it’s someone who never thought they would be able to buy a home. I get to know that I was a big part of that, and they’ll always remember it. It’s a continuation of what I did as a teacher, just doing whatever I can to help people.”
