About the Author Tony Seba is a lecturer in entrepreneurship, disruption, and clean energy at Stanford University. His courses include “Anticipating and Leading Market Disruption,” “Clean Energy and Clean Transportation — Market and Investment Opportunities,” and “Finance for Entrepreneurs.” Tony Seba is also the author of Solar Trillions – 7 Market and Investment Opportunities in the Emerging Clean Energy Economy and Winners Take All – 9 Fundamental Rules of High Tech Strategy. Tony Seba is currently advising companies developing more than 400 MW of solar power and wind power plants globally. He has also advised venture investors on high-technology company investments. He is an advisor to solar accelerator SFUN Cube. He is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and executive with more than twenty years of experience in disruptive, fast-growth technology businesses. He was an early employee of the Internet powerhouse Cisco Systems and the Internet security standard-setter RSA Data Security. As director of strategic planning at RSA Data Security, he helped the company with new product and market creation. He also helped guide the company’s $200-million merger with Security Dynamics. He was the co-founder, president, and CEO of PrintNation.com, for which he raised more than $31 million in venture funding. He established PrintNation.com as the undisputed leader in its market segment and disrupted this $100 billion industry. The company won numerous “best of” awards and was listed in the Upside Hot 100 and the Forbes.com B2B “Best of the Web.” Tony Seba is a recognized thought leader and keynote speaker in entrepreneurship, disruption, and the future of energy and transportation. His speaking clients include Google, the California League of Cities, the InterAmerican Development Bank, and the Institute for The Future. His leadership has been recognized in publications such as Investors Business Daily, Business Week, Upside, and Success. He has served on many boards of directors and advisory boards.
