24 Fal River Festival Beer Fleet

Join the Beer Fleet as we sail down the Fal River to launch the 2013 Truro & Penwith College Fal River Festival. Crafts of all shapes and sizes join our fleet of classic ferries as we mark the ceremonial passage of the beer from Truro to Falmouth for the start of the Fal River Festival. The celebrations start as guests board the first boat at 3.30pm at Prince of Wales Pier in Falmouth. Other boats join the fleet throughout the afternoon and everyone meets at King Harry/ Trelissick to make the final journey down to Falmouth

The fleet lands at Prince of Wales Pier at approximately 6pm. The Beer Fleet will then parade through town to Events Square, at the head of which will be the barrel of Skinner’s beer, accompanied by music from Truro School of Samba. On arrival at Events Square, the party really begins!
