Tommaso CorĂ is CEO & founder of TIPIC, a strategic design agency.
This approach allowed him to gain a rich experience in terms of projects themes and collaborations that enrich his skills and design vision.
Team leader of multidisciplinary design research projects, his work focuses on social interactions and on the applications of new materials and technologies.
Tommaso CorĂ was co-founder and design department & research head at Cibicworkshop, the design research center by Aldo Cibic, one of the Memphis design movement founders together with Ettore Sottsass.
As a result of the collaboration with various companies, schools and universities he developed a dynamic approach to problem solving characterized by strong determination, analytical skills, effective presentation and consistant execution.

Offmat, the product research unit developed by Tipic for Marmo Arredo Group has been named by Dezeen Magazine one of the 8 trends of Milano 2016 Design Week. The 3 main videos on the project published on the web racked up 25 millions visualizations overall. Offmat is an esperimental workshop which combines industrial excellence, innovation and design to expand know-how boundaries. INVOLUCRO IN CALCE E CANAPA Il biocomposito di calce e canapa permette di realizzare edifici ad alta efficienza energetica, biocompatibili e ad emissioni zero, che possiede la particolare caratteristica di assorbire CO2 grazie alle caratteristiche biologiche delle materie prime di cui è composto.

INVOLUCRO IN LATERIZIO PRECOMPRESSO E POLIESTERE RICICLATO Il laterizio conferisce efficienza termica e resistenza all’involucro, assemblato a secco diventa veloce da montare ed economico da gestire.Il poliestere è un materiale isolante ottenuto da riciclo e a sua volta riciclabile.

DESIGN TOMMASO CORÀ Lo stick incorpora 3 LED da 1W in un guscio di resina termoplastica su cui è montata una lente progressiva regolabile da 20° a 40°. — The light unit is equipped with 3x1W Power LEDs supplied at 12 V dc, surrounded by thermoconductive resin and a progressive lens 20°/40°. Il portalampade è alimentabile dai connettori disposti sui lati e sul fondo (per l’installazione a plafone con fili nascosti). — The support is supplied by a special plug insertable in both sides or in the bottom.

Il sistema prevede la composizione in cestelli da 4 a 12 unità. I travi di supporto, sviluppati internamente da Dlight, ospitano gli alimentatori e sono disegnati in modo da ottimizzare la dispersione termica per garantire la migliore durata possibile ai componenti interni. — The rack system has many composition, from 4 to 12 units. Supports include the power unit suppliers and they are designed by dlight to obtain the highest thermal dissipation.

Industrial Design Department Manager At Fabrica throughout 2005 I coordinated the group of scholarship students and creative professionals of the Design department in different projects with Aldo Cibic as Head of Design Department. During that year Tommaso CorĂ designed the Fabrica exhitit in Seul, Fabrica Features Shops in Istanbul & Montecatini and he coordinated many research projects.
