XAA-WAN’-K’WVT (HOWONQUET) EARLY LEARNING PROGRAM (XELP) In February, Head Start had a fun filled Valentine’s day including creative projects such as making flower art, plastered heart wind chimes, along with some beautiful valentines cards. We received a wonderful donation of beads and shells from Andromeda Lopez. Emily and Thomas Reed spent over two hours grinding and grading the shells for the Head Start Graduates. Shu’shaa nin-la, (Thank you) for your donations for our upcoming graduation. Head Start will be closed April 11th-15th for Spring Break
Summer break is around the corner! Our Tribal Preschool is accepting applications for year-round daycare, including school breaks. We invite all children—Tribal & community members—2 years, 9 months to 6 years of age to join us.
