Senior Assurance I finished my degree in international management at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in 2010. I decided to join PwC because the company has such a good reputation in Switzerland, and also because I felt very welcomed during the interviews. As soon as I started I participated in an introduction course to learn the technical side of the job. This was also an opportunity to meet a lot of other new joiners.
Senior Consultant Tax & Legal Services I studied Economics and Business Administration at the University of Zurich, graduating with a Master's degree in 2010. Ever since encountering tax for the first time in a lecture, I have been fascinated by the variety of tax law. Just about every business decision, and many private decisions, have tax implications. This means that resolving the resulting tax issues offers plenty of scope for a hands-on approach.
Since joining five years ago I've learned so much – in particular how to work efficiently and accurately and how to deal with a wide variety of clients. The biggest challenge is to get to know the client, their business, their processes and the related risks as quickly as possible. The thing that motivates me most is when a client is satisfied at the end of an audit and thanks us for our work.
I work inThe theopportunity Corporate Tax department. In my team, we consult clients in the financial services of a lifetime sector, as well as smaller and larger companies in other industries. Our work varies from straightforward tax returns to tax consulting in connection with complex international transactions. Before long, you are in contact with PwC firms all over the world.
During the busy season I have no problem doing overtime when necessary. In return I can compensate these hours when we have less work; I use the time to study for my auditor's diploma. I appreciate this flexibility, plus the financial support and time I get for my training. My goal is to pass my auditor's diploma and be promoted to Manager. My tip for you: be enthusiastic and open to new things.

From my very first day, PwC has given me the chance to work on complex and challenging client issues. I have been able to progressively take on more responsibility and prepare thoroughly for my tax expert's exam. Liliana Rösslein BSc in International Management Reutlingen University and RMS Reims Senior Consultant Advisory I graduated in 2011 with a joint German / French degree in International Management from Reutlingen University and RMS Reims. During my studies, I took a course on transaction advisory and due diligence. I found this subject so interesting that I applied for a job at PwC in this field. I received a very warm welcome at PwC and was soon involved in a wide range of projects in transaction advisory for banks, companies in the insurance, aviation and energy sectors, as well as SMEs.
