As a naturally dense and oily wood, Kwila is able to withstand the most challenging of outdoor environments, making it the material of choice for decking and outdoor use.

All our S2dio Kwila products are from environmentally sustainable sources and are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Over time, Kwila will form a medium grey patina much like most woods. This grey patina will not affect the structural integrity of the Kwila in any way, it is just a sign of the Kwila’s maturity as a wood when exposed to the elements. In the event you would like to restore the Kwila back to its original finish, gently clean and hard brush the surface of your Kwila, lightly sand and apply a clear Kwila decking oil. We recommend that you repeat the process twice per year.
Our S2dio Kwila is thoroughly dried in special customised kilns for up to six weeks to minimise shrinkage or movement. The finished products are then well-sanded, oiled and dried before packaging.
CARE & MAINTENANCE Some Kwila products may naturally leech excess sap within the first 3-4 weeks of being exposed to rain or heavy dew. As a result we recommended that all Kwila furniture be ‘bled’ or ‘leached’ during this period so as to not stain or damage the flooring it is placed on. To achieve this, please place furniture on a grassed area to avoid any unwanted staining and direct a hose with a steady flow of water at the setting. It is important that all areas of

All wood is carefully picked and selected based on colour in order to create a consistent finish but due to the fact that wood comes from different ecosystems, you may experience some colour variation with the product. This is normal and over time will stabilise.
It is also recommended that you tighten all fittings every six months to prevent the frames from working loose. *For products which combine both teak and wicker please see page 50 for Wicker care.
