FORGED AS ONE Every piece we create physically and spiritually expresses the intention, vision, and craft that brought it into being. In this way Todd, as the artist, and each of his artisan-collaborators remain present long after a piece leaves the studio. The way Todd Reed jewelry is made is a key part of our story: artist and artisans in collaboration. A system of monograms (hallmarks) have been created for each master jeweler. Together with the Todd Reed signature hallmark, the stamps become a strong statement of provenance that acknowledges the relationship each maker has with the pieces they create.
That presence is alive in the technique, in the beautiful traces of hand work, in the way the materials are allowed to behave naturally in response to all the forces required to create each piece. Fire. Pressure. Tension. Friction. The result is a work of art that speaks to the wearer. It tells the story of its own making in the voice of the artisan and the unmistakable language of the artist.
