wHat to BeaR in MinD wHen BUyinG a BaG... If you’re anything like us, your golf bag resembles something of a car boot sale. Balls of varying ages, broken tees, old gloves, scorecards from three years ago, Mars bars from the last Millennium and enough hats to keep the whole of the field

in the dunhill Links warm are just some of the items usually found in our bags. Therefore, one of the key things to consider when purchasing a new model are the size and accessibility of the pockets. Fur-lined pockets are great for

valuables while water bottle holders and even somewhere for your GPS device are very handy. However, a word of warning. Pockets – and indeed a cool look are all very well but you need to get something that’s going to last. All too often you’ll get something

that lasts little more than a season because it’s too flimsy. So when you’re buying, make sure you’re getting something that’s stable, rugged and unlikely to snap in two in a 15mph wind. Get something with style, features AND substance.
