- Mark Twain

Steve Jobs knew how important practicing a speech was. Before his presentations at Apple conferences he practiced for days.

Given how many talks are delivered every day all over the world, it’s hard to determine the longest and the shortest ones, but there are two that are good examples.

The longest speech ever was delivered in the British House of Commons in 1828 - it lasted for 6 hours straight.
