A LITTLE MORE ABOUT EACH WORKOUT VIDEO… FRIDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER – LEGS I’m going to share my favorite and best-kept exercises to help lengthen and tone your legs. We’ll work your inner thighs, the muscles just above your knees that often sag and bulge when they aren’t toned (I used to really struggle with this one!), and finally the overall shape of your legs, so they look AMAZING no matter what angle you look at them from!

FRIDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER UPPER BODY AND POSTURE Can I let you in on something awesome? If you tone your upper body (chest, back and shoulders specifically) and hold your upper body in the right place, it will make your waist and hips look smaller! I used to have really small shoulders and it made my hips look bigger than they actually are – I really did look like a pear! But then I learnt how to work my body to give me that gorgeous hourglass shape! We’ll be working on your shoulders, chest (great for all shapes and sizes), ‘bingo’ wings/the back of your arms and I’ll show you how to get rid of the awful ‘back fat’, as well as Posture techniques to help you look longer, leaner and way more confident.

Did you know there is a science to working your butt? There are 3 different butt muscles and in order to get that ‘bubble’ butt, you need to work all 3 muscles! I LOVE working my butt, it’s my best asset and I want you to have that lifted bubble butt too! We’ll be working on your tummy, which again has a science to it. There are several different muscles in your tummy that need to be worked in order to get a flat, small and toned waist. These 2 parts of the body are my FAVOURITE parts to work so know that you’ll get loads of juicy stuff to do and get great results, like I have!

The Art Of Letting Go In life situations and circumstances arise that don’t serve us and are more like a lesson that we are meant to grow from, it could be a certain person in your life who brings you down and sucks your energy, a job that you dislike, or something that’s happened to you that has upset you in some way. It becomes a constant thought in your mind, a continuous movie that you keep replaying and analyzing. You’ll know its something you need to deal with because it’ll often cause you to feel angry, sad or just plain old pissed off throughout your day for no specific reason because let’s face it, its bothering you. No matter how big or small it may be, if it’s causing you to feel everything but happiness then you need to clear your mind and find the solution because life is too short to be anything but happy! Learn How to Prosper In The Midst Of Change By Jessica Rector No one has become who he or she is meant to be by staying who he or she is today. Let’s face it; change is inevitable and pretty scary. You can either step into the change, embrace it and become a better, stronger version of yourself or shrink back to your old ways and comfort zone – remembering that nothing beautiful ever grows in your comfort zone, all the good stuff is just on the edges of your boundaries.

Until I started a blog in order to help other single moms who might be feeling the same way, and I received so much positive support and feedback.

Fear won’t exist (you’re focused on the snap and not the fear). 4) Do something small everyday to step out of your comfort zone. Try a new meal, go to yoga, or have fun rock climbing. Experience something small to stretch yourself, which will create a new norm for you. Your comfort zone will expand. Tell yourself, “I believe in you,” verbally. Don’t just say it in your head. Something marvelous happens when you say it out loud and declare it to the world. Repeat, “I believe in you” three times every day.

For years we (especially women) have prided ourselves on being able to “multi-task”. But as time has passed and research has acknowledged, we have learned that multitasking is a deterrent to completing goals. Now of course, not all multitasking is bad. Some still serve a very time sparing purpose such as walking and talking, listening to audio CDs while you’re driving or if you are like me, I read and email while on the treadmill. (I know not a task for the faint at heart or uncoordinated)

Do you ever feel like you are just surviving through the day? Like your main focus is just to get through the day? You feel mentally exhausted, drained and pretty much mindless! You probably forgot what it’s like to jump out of bed full of energy, smile ear to ear and want to pump your fists up in the air saying I FEEL AMAZING, I LOVE LIFE.

Some of you will probably say, but I go to the gym, I run, I do yoga, I drink smoothies and eat healthy. But how many of you honestly and truly can say that you’re thriving? Say that you love yourself, have lots of energy, love your life and even when you have a bad moment (bad days don’t exist by the way!) still know deep down that it’s there to teach you something rather than feeling like life gets in the way and is bringing you down again.

Do you want to know one of the techniques I used to get my life to a place where I was thriving, instead of surviving?

It’s simple, but it’s all about how we start our day. The first hour or even a few moments from when we open our eyes, determine how we feel and go about the rest our day. Some call it the golden hour or the hour of power. Spend this time doing things that make you smile, make you feel better. Be a I personally lived my life just like little selfish and get comfortable that for way too long, thinking in your own company. door you can do any of these easily: - A short meditation or stretching routine - Nice cup of tea in the garden - Listen to a few of your favourite songs that just make you smile and dance - Write down 3 things that you’re grateful for - Think of your favourite place on Earth and in your mind take yourself on a 5minute holiday over there - Watch that amazingly funny video on you tube (anything to do with cute animals is usually my ‘go to’) - Read your favourite quotes and imagine yourself being wonder woman I do a selection of these things each and every day with no excuses. And so do my clients. Was it always a habit? Of course not! Did I (and still do) occasionally miss days because I think I am just ‘too busy’ – of course. But the intention is what matters and once you start doing it, start spending some time with yourself every morning and feeling the difference, you just can’t stop and here’s a hint – you can do just the same in the evening. Have a few minutes to light up some candles,

unwind from the day behind you, write down a few things that made you smile and get your mind ready to slow down even more, to fall asleep peacefully and wake up to the next ‘golden hour’ of yours (even if in reality it’s just 15minutes). I’ll share a little secret with you, once I got into my routine and learned how to love myself a little more, the world out there changed, my days are brighter and the relationships with everyone around me changed because my

In reality, there are very few of us who actually spend purposeful time digging around to figure out the truth about ourselves and what we really want. We often present ourselves to the outer world using masks to avoid complicated and painful feelings. We hide ourselves behind these masks for various reasons like wanting to fit in, fear of judgment, and fear of rejection. We limit how much of ourselves we actually reveal depending on our trust level.

My job is to showcase something you may never even have known was there. I try my very best to show my clients “real life” because you and I both know that everything isn’t always perfect so why fake it and act as if tragedy doesn’t exist. I have made it my personal task to make my clients feel loved right where they are, regardless of what they are going through. I will admit some “Forever Loved” sessions are harder then others but this my friends has personally been the most compelling to me out of the hundreds I have shot. Meet Sweet 24-year-old Ashley who is about to be a mama of 2. Coincidently 7 people that I have never met went to my website and applied for a “forever loved” session on behalf of Ashley. One day Ashley’s knee was hurting and extremely swollen, she was also 10 weeks pregnant. She went to the doctors multiple times and was told that she has arthritis. In

December 2013 Ashley struggled with the ever-increasing knee pain, nausea and loss of appetite. By this time, it was extremely difficult to walk and she could no longer straighten her knee. Work was becoming more challenging every day. Thankfully, she finally went to see an orthopedist. The ortho reviewed x-rays that had been taken in November and informed Ashley that there was a 3-cm tumor in the distal end of her femur (bottom of the thigh bone), and that more tests were needed. In January 2014, before the MRI could be authorized, Ashley ended up in the ER because she had numbness in her foot. An x-ray at that time revealed that she had a large tumor; measuring over 10 cm. Ashley had cancer. A hurricane of questions, concerns, phone calls, and frustrations started. Being 24 with bone cancer is bad enough... but to be

Two months ago, Ashley was experiencing terrible headaches and considering she was pregnant, her first thought was the headaches were pregnancy related. One morning she woke up and her tongue on her left side was totally numb. Ashley went to her ER and found out the cancer had spread to her skull. They told her that there was no cure, and that surgery was far too risky because the cancer is to close to her brain stem. They also told Ashley the devastating news...she has one year at “best” to live. They delivered her baby

pregnant, too? It was all so unbelievable. Ashley had the surgery to remove the lower half of her femur and replace it with a “fancy” knee replacement on February 25, 2014. Ashley opted out of chemo for the safety of her baby girl, there was a great possibility it would have killed her.

In 2011, the Husband of a dear friend of Lindsey’s was diagnosed with cancer. As a photographer, her passion is to capture memories for people, even if those memories are painful. She thought it would be amazing to document his journey. Lindsey was able to capture memories with his newborn baby, throughout his chemo, and ultimately his last family portrait and final moments in the hospital with his wife and son.
