The Luxury Collection, Montenegro is delighted to announce that our magazine award for The International person in Montenegro, of the year 2015 goes to Mr Samih Sawiris – Founder and Chairman of Orascom Development Holding – the developer of Luštica Bay among other iconic spaces around the world. Mr Sawiris is being recognised for his contribution to Montenegro not only relating to the investment at Luštica Bay, but also for his ongoing public support for Montenegro on the global investment stage.

r Samih Sawiris was born in Cairo in 1957. He is the founder and Chairman of Orascom Development Holding - a Swiss incorporated company listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX). Orascom Development is a leading developer of fully integrated destinations that include hotels, private villas and apartments, leisure facilities such as golf courses, marinas and supporting infrastructure. Orascom Development’s diversified portfolio of projects includes destinations such as Andermatt in Switzerland, four destinations in Egypt: El Gouna, Taba Heights, Haram City and Makadi; the Cove in the United Arab Emirates and Jebel Sifah and Salalah Beach in Oman. The Group currently owns 35 hotels with 8,135 guestrooms and over 1,000 rooms under development in different countries.
