International human rights advocate, Father Desbois, speaks to Toledo audiences and schools Father Patrick Desbois, founder of the international human rights organization Yahad-In Unum, spoke to more than 500 local high school students at the Valentine Theatre Monday and more than 300 community members at Lourdes University on Sunday. He discussed his lifelong devotion to confronting anti-Semitism and furthering Catholic-Jewish understanding. Arrangements for the appearance of Father Desbois made through Greater Talent Network, LLC, New York, NY. Father Desbois' appearance was made possible by Jewish Federation of Greater Toledo, the Ruth Fajerman Markowicz Holocaust Resource Center, and the Jack & Kathryn Gallon Community Scholarship & Education Opportunity Fund.
