Environmental Health and Risk Priorities for North Carolina
A Survey of Extension Agents
North Carolina is currently facing a number of challenging environmental health and risk issues, including impacts from climate change, water pollution, waste management, and emerging contaminants in the environment. This poster presents key findings from a NC State Extension survey that identifies needs and priorities of Extension Agents related to environmental health and risk issues, conducted in spring 2021.
Key priorities and needs are highlighted, as well as overarching issues related to reaching out to diverse stakeholders, engaging with communities and communicating complex environmental health and risk issues.
