Through a series of exercises, including site analysis, builddesign, representation and program, explore the crafts of bread making and brick-laying and synthesize these ideas into a sound architectural proposal for a communal bread making center for the client Three Rivers Park District at their Silverwood Park location.
Harness the beauty of the large clearing in the northwest area of the park by locating the center at the edge of the woods, staying sensitive to the existing trees. Orient the center to have a connection with the undeveloped areas of the park, providing a serene experience for visitors while they practice the craft of break making.
