hether you are a professional or recreational athlete, on the island of Krk you will experience one of the most beautiful outdoor stories. Choose a favorite activity and let it guide you to an irresistible natural landscape. On the way, you will discover the island's abundance of cultural and historical heritage. The impressive three hundred kilometers of walking and cycling trails that meander through the island will lead you to the hidden corners of the island and to viewpoints that offer breathtaking views. There are seven towns/settlements on the island and endless outdoor adventures. town of Njivice, both on the northern part of the island. Explore them on foot or by bike through the fields of medicinal herbs and experience outdoor aromatherapy at the same time. The trails in that part of the island smell of cyclamen, orchids, rosemary, sage, lavender, and oregano. Near Omišalj, where the island is closest to the mainland, is an immortelle plantation that is especially attractive from May to late July when the immortelle flowers are in full bloom. A popular destination for fans of outdoor sports is Malinska, which has trails that are also great for cyclists.
