The celebration of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15), also attracts thousands of pilgrims to Sinj, one of the largest Marian shrines in Croatia. The Children's Alka tournament in Vučkovići, the Cetina Adventure Race, the depiction of the 1715 Siege of Sinj, the Prosciutto Fair... they are just a reason more to come.

not just watch the Cetina, you can also row down it and experience an unforgettable canoe safari. Those with a more adventurous spirit can head out on an off-road adrenaline quad ride, while those who would like to have a bird's-eye view of Sinj can go paragliding and parachuting. There are also equestrian clubs that offer riding lessons in the area that has eternally been connected to breeding and training horses. Fly fishing on the Cetina, airsoft, paintball, photo safaris... The selection is vast. Take a moment for yourself and head to the Our Lady of Sinj Trail, and then gather your thoughts with the unique and delicious dishes in one of Sinj's restaurants. Make sure to try Sinj arambaše, or delicacies such as frogs, Cetina trout, Dalmatian pašticada, peka, Sinj rafioli... Just like in all of the Dalmatian hinterland, homemade prosciutto and cheese are a must-have appetizer.
