here, where the crystal-clear sea splashes the white pebble beaches, lined by Mediterranean pines, where the sea and fresh mountain air mix, and the sun shines for more than 2700 hours a year, you will find Baška Voda. The charming and lively town in the heart of Dalmatia, a favorite amongst tourists, was described by the famous Dr. Antonio Angelo Frari back in 1840 as a place "where everything exudes life and energy". It's doubtless that you will feel the liveliness and special energy there that will entice you to do some outdoor activities. Relax your body and mind on the marked walking trails at the foot of the impressive Biokovo mountain, which has been awarded the title of nature park. The trails will take you alongside the sea, the slopes of Biokovo, mountain springs and
picturesque villages, such as Topići and Bast, with preserved Dalmatian stone houses and churches. Don't hesitate to conquer the peaks of Biokovo, which will reward you with majestic views. Head out on that adventure but make sure to stick to the marked trails and head out with a guide as part of an organized excursion. Cyclists, climbers, divers, fans of water sports and buggy safaris will surely enjoy Baška Voda, and there will definitely be an abundance of adrenaline. Later, relax in one of the wellness centers there that offer plenty, and treat your taste buds to a feast. With typical Dalmatian charm, the hospitable locals await you in their restaurants and taverns with meat and fish specialties, and make sure to try a fish stew made of grooper, Pašticada, Biokovo Peka, and Baška Voda rafioli.
