POST-9/11 GI BILL TRANSFER OF EDUCATION BENEFITS POLICY Attention active duty officers and enlisted personnel. You may transfer education benefits at any time after completing 6 years in service as long as you commit to and satisfy the required 4-year active duty service commitment assessed from the date of application. SPRING ENROLLMENT ON-BASE NOW OPEN Enrollment is now underway for spring classes on Tinker AFB. The following six institutions offer courses on Tinker AFB: Rose Sate College (739-5774/mengelbrecht@rose. edu), Park University (739-7275/angela.perry@park.edu), Oklahoma City University (739-2306/ctreadway@okcu. edu), The University of Oklahoma (739-7365/aptinker@ ou.edu), Webster University (739-3518/jeraldharrison82@ webster.edu), and the Oklahoma City Aviation Alliance/ Southeastern Oklahoma State University (739-2574/ LJRupert@se.edu). Don’t hesitate to contact the on-base colleges and universities. They can assist with program information, the application process, enrolling, obtaining a degree plan, financial aid, etc. Tuition assistance is available for active duty military and civilians to help defray the cost of tuition. ENLISTED-TO-AIR FORCE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (AFIT) CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS The Enlisted-to-AFIT program is a unique element of enlisted professional development. In conjunction with other training and education programs, resident AFIT-sponsored science, engineering, and management graduate degree opportunities deepen noncommissioned officers’ (NCO) technical education and skills. All volunteer intent and package requirements must be received by AF/A1DLE no later than 16 FEB 2022. DEFENSE LANGUAGE INSTITUTE (DLI) WEB-BASED FIELD TESTING UNDERWAY Active duty Service members that speak Arabic-Saudi or Arabic-Yemeni, that have previously tested on the noted DLPT exam with a proficiency score between 1 and 3 on the lower range, and are interested in participating in the Defense Language Institute (DLI) web-based field test (language test) are invited to contact the Education Center prior to 28 FEB 2022 to schedule to test.
