AIR FORCE CREDENTIALING OPPORTUNITIES ON-LINE (AF COOL) STUDY MATERIALS
The AF Cool Program recommends that individuals take advantage of FREE study materials and resources available through Skillsoft. Service members should access their Air Force Virtual Education Center (AFVEC) through the Air Force Portal and click on the AF Cool tab. Prior to selecting the Funding Request Option for Study Materials, please select the Skillsoft link, https://usafprod. skillport.com/skillportfe/main.action?path=summary/ VIDEOS/57273, as there are FREE resources available to Service members such as books and self-study guides that range across many diff erent certifi cations. The Skillsoft resources can assist you in saving more of your AF COOL funding cap.
MY CAREER ADVANCEMENT ACCOUNT SCHOLARSHIP
Military spouses are encouraged to use the My Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship to pursue education and professional credentials. The National Defense Authorization Act expanded the program to help pay tuition up to $4,000 for a license, certifi cation or associate degree to pursue any occupation or career. As long as the military spouse, school and a Spouse Education and Career Opportunities career coach work together to defi ne a clear career path, called an education and training plan, the funds can be applied. Spouses of service members in pay grades E-1 through E-5, W-1 through W-2 and O-1 through O-2 are eligible. Under the law, spouses will remain eligible for the fi nancial assistance if their sponsor is promoted above the eligible ranks as long as they have initiated the process and have an approved education and training plan in place. Summer enrollment for The University of Oklahoma is almost here, and you don’t want to miss it! Keep an eye out as summer enrollment opens 1 MAR 21. OU will host two courses on Tinker AFB for the summer term. Don’t miss out on enrolling for HR 5093-106: Introduction to Graduate Studies in Human Relations. The course is designed to familiarize students with the standards and expectations of multidisciplinary graduate coursework, particularly with regard to writing standards, research strategies and techniques. OU will offer another course that is to be determined (TBD) so please call or email with any inquires. These course’s will be conducted online, but will count as “in seat/in classroom courses”. Tinker Golf Club
18 holes of gently rolling golf is enjoyable for riding and walking alike. The layout presents itself with all trouble easily visible to the golfer except for the pond and nearly island green on number 15, that can’t be seen from the tee. It is a fun course to play for all ages. From juniors to seniors and everybody between. The friendliness and camaraderie is unmatched. Don’t have a group? We will help fi nd you great people to play with.
We also have a driving range and practice area to help hone your skills, including group and individual lessons for all ages.

Monthly Fun Tournaments– Have you ever putted in a sand trap or played 18 par 3’s in one round? How about holes ranging up to 1000 yards long? At Tinker you can do this and more by participating in our “fun” monthly events.
Family Tees– A shorter course for young and beginning golfers. These forward tees marked on the cart paths on the front nine provide young and beginning golfers the same chance at par as more experienced players from regular tees.
Soccer Golf– Still available on our front nine if you aren’t really into regular golf but like soccer. Friends can play mixed matches of golf and soccer golf.
Current dress code– No vulgar shirts. Uniforms can be worn on the range and putting green but not on the course. Only golf or tennis shoes may be worn. No boots, cleats other than golf. No cutoff shorts. Groundhog Day
