Measured in microns, per flap. i.e. 2 x 125 = 250 micron total thickness
Whichever thickness of pouch you select your document will be perfectly laminated. The lower the micron selected the more flexible the finished laminated document. The higher the micron the more rigid the document. As a general rule the more frequently that your document will be handled the higher the thickness of pouch you should select.
