Simphoukham to perform in college service

Gustavus Adolphus College will host its annual Christmas in Christ Chapel worship services Thursday, Dec. 2, to Sunday, Dec. 5, on its St. Peter, Minnesota, campus.

This year, Christmas in Christ Chapel’s theme is We Shall Go Forth Singing. More than 350 students will lead the audience through the service, which places stories of lament and meaning making among the stories of the Divine.

Among the students is Kristin Simphoukham of Peoria. She’s with Lucia Singers.

The evening performance on Saturday, Dec. 4, will be livestreamed online for free beginning at 7:30 p.m. Central time. Visit gustavus.edu/ccc to learn more or watch the livestream.
