Outlook: Coach Hughes is impressed with the freshman class, pointing out they’ve played a lot of field hockey in the past. Some of them may have to play both varsity and JV games so the Huskies can play a JV schedule. Bennett appears to have recovered from ACL surgery and looks strong in the cage. Coach’s comment: “This is a group that gets along well together. They understand that they have a common purpose. They’ve all bought in to what we’re trying to do.”
