2021 Elections
Information regarding the May elections
Residents of Newcastle-underLyme will be taking part in three elections on Thursday, May 6.

Ballots are being cast for the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Staffordshire County Council election and Chapel & Hill Chorlton Parish.
These will be the first such elections since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and a few changes have been made to accommodate coronavirus restrictions.
Electors will still be allowed to vote in person with Covid-19 protocols in force at each polling station.
As of March 26, changes to polling stations for 2021 are as in the table.
Those unable to visit their polling station on the day can vote by post or proxy by filling out an application form which can be found at www.newcastlestaffs.gov.uk/all-services/your -council/elections-andelectoral-registration/forthco ming-elections-2021.
These then need to be emailed to Newcastle-UnderLyme Borough Council at electreg@newcastlestaffs.gov.uk.
Residents wanting to cast their vote by post need to send in their application by 5pm on April 20 and proxy applications are required to be in by 5pm on April 27.

Those who are not yet registered and wish to vote can apply at www.gov.uk/registerto-vote.
