being there, doing that 59TH ANNUAL TAMPA BAY HEART BALL
Love, grief, creativity, generosity — the Tampa Bay Heart Ball evoked so many emotions as the American Heart Association set a $2 million goal, enough to fund two heart transplants. The highs kept coming, especially developer Bob Schmidt’s heartpounding, jaw-dropping $85,000 live auction bid for a week in a luxury villa in Anguilla donated by Obsidian International. Co-chairs Julie and Allen Brinkman and 600 guests had plenty to celebrate at the Marriott Waterside. 1. Allen and Julie Brinkman and special guests Laurie Pierce and Garrett Leopold 2.
