‘Think Chamber Members FIRST’ motto for 2010 and beyond A simple yet effective economic development tool was launched in 2009 and built on in 2010. Called “Think Chamber Members First,” it introduced into our daily thought processes the importance of doing business with fellow Chamber members. The beautiful thing about “Think Chamber Members First” is that it requires no additional expense to you or your business. By simply looking to Chamber members to make normal and necessary purchases, you are contributing to their – and our – success. One effective tool is prominently displaying your Chamber membership decal in your place of business. This allows cus-

tomers to identify you as a Chamber member and makes that purchasing decision even easier. Additionally, the Chamber encourages you to list your products and services and shop online at the “Hot Deals Member Marketplace” on the Chamber’s web site. All that is required of you is to think when you make purchases. Even if you are just filling your gas tank, make sure you do it in Coweta County. That way, a local business is getting YOUR business and you both are contributing to a sales tax stream that will help Coweta with its Police, Fire, EMS and other vital services that make Coweta the quality place it is to live, work and play.

Remember: THINK CHAMBER MEMBERS FIRST when making your everyday or big ticket purchases. It’s simple, cheap and effective!
