THE NEW MAILLON TRIOMPHE COLLECTION CAPTURES THE EFFORTLESS BEAUTY OF A CELINE WOMAN
Celine unveils the new Maillon Triomphe Collection consisting of seven essential jewellery pieces. In an effortlessly chic manner, each piece is dedicated to the historical Parisian landmark, Arc de Triomphe. The collection has four models: a necklace, a bracelet, a pair of studs, and a sautoir, all of which are available in yellow gold. At the heart of each Maillon Triomphe jewellery model is a delicate Celine monogram that has become the sole identity of the atelier. The mirrored “C” symbol at the centre is encircled by an oblong rim. The monogram, which resembles the Arc de Triomphe’s own chain link, is held together by a lithe chain of the same colour. For the pure yellow gold version, the

minimalist yet powerful Celine name marks the bottom part of the centrepiece. Meanwhile, no such name is visible on the front of the yellow gold and diamond necklace, bracelet and studs. Instead, the three pieces’ outer rim is embellished with said glistening gems, which radiates beautifully against the otherwise warm tone of the gold. Be it the yellow gold model or the one laced with diamonds, each Maillon Triomphe piece can effortlessly elevate one’s confidence and style.
Though each of the jewellery might seem delicate in size, the design still remains true to its identity. Just like its apparel, purses, and other designs, Celine’s aesthetics derives itself from the chic style one would witness at a lively Parisian street. Akin to its other designs, the Maillon Triomphe Collection can easily be worn for any occasion, making the pieces the perfect go-to accessories. Take, for example, the Maillon Triomphe sautoir that can be worn as a single loop or multiple-looped necklace to amp up a work attire, an evening gown, or any other look.
Founded in 20th century France, Celine found its footing in Made-To-Measure children’s shoes before expanding to Women’s ready to wear, leather goods and accessories. When the fashion house began to grow an international audience and opened branches all over the globe, it joined the LVMH group, a move that was sure to further cement its success.
Since Hedi Slimane joined Celine in 2018 as its Creative, Artistic, and Image Director, the avant-garde fashion designer has since catapulted the fashion house into the modernday icon it is. With bold strides, the fashion veteran chose to reinvent the Celine name and created a fresh twist to the already established atelier. Slimane took inspiration from the fashion house’s own rich heritage, before melding them with visions of his own.
The French fashion house was joined by yet another celebrated name, Lisa of BLACKPINK, who also became Celine’s Haute Perfumerie Ambassador recently. With an energy and boldness to match the atelier’s and Slimane’s own vivacious spirits, the new Global Ambassador has drawn even more attention to Celine. This time through the Maillon Triomphe Collection, Celine solidifies its definition of what it means to be a contemporary beauty: effortless, delicate, yet still steadily championing its principles.
