After finding it increasingly difficult to buy shirts that lasted and were made using real luxury fabrics, Paul Brown decided to create a company and to launch his first capsule men's shirt collection in September 2010. The shirts were designed by Paul and manufactured initially in Northern Italy. The collection used fine 100% Egyptian cotton fabrics and detailed in such a way to set it apart from the competition. It proved very popular among all age groups and was quickly followed by a ladies range. As output grew, he needed to expand and five years ago took the decision to open his own shirt manufacturing facility in Suffolk. With all the shirts now being both designed and made in England, new shirts were added more frequently during the year along with a made to measure service starting from just £99. There’s a great range on display at the St John’s Street shop and Paul is very proud that all the shirts and coats are all designed and made in England. As he says: "We are one of only a few English manufacturing companies left". wisconline.co.uk 01284 724222 THE BEST OF SUFFOLK __ 97
