___ EXPERIENCES

ALLEN GARDINER AND LADY FLORENCE

RIVER CRUISE RESTAURANTS What could be more delightful than to cruise the tranquil Suffolk rivers, whilst dining from an Ă la carte menu, with everything cooked on board an historic World War II wooden vessel with only twelve passengers. Brunch, lunch, supper and candlelit dinner are served all year round, with a cosy coal fire in winter. This is a unique family business established 25 years ago with the Lady Florence sailing from Orford Quay. After ten years, the Allen Gardiner was converted in South Africa, and successfully operated there for the next ten years, before

being brought to Ipswich in 2013, from where she operates from the Waterfront. The menus exceed expectations, and include specialities such as Beef Wellington and Lamb Shank. Allen Gardiner, having a bigger galley, prides herself on offering all menu items with a gluten free option. The cruises are up to three hours duration and are ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, birdwatching and viewing the fascinating Suffolk countryside from the decks of characterful historic vessels.
