Inspired by tiles and pottery from travels to distant shores, the designer’s love for ceramics is apparent in the Bon Voyage collection. However, to be more in keeping with the Tilda concept, the palette is more subdued than what you would find in classic pottery. To mix up the larger tile-inspired patterns and to make the collection more user-friendly, a series of smaller patterns in matching colors make up half the fabrics. It is easy and fun to juxtapose larger and smaller patterns in interesting patchworks. The Bon Voyage collection is both classic and modern, and will give your quilts a real summer flair reminiscent of mosaics made of ceramic tiles. The popular “Sophie” pattern is back as a basic with four new colors, a perfect classic floral blender for any collection. Quilts are sewn by Anne Berit Røed Pedersen and quilted by Merete Ellingsen and Anne Rønningen. Softies and the Flowerpot Quilt is sewn by Ingun Eldøy.
