SUMMERWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL (t) 012 345 6787 (e) info@summerwoodpe.co.za Summerwood’s own Homegrowing Hero Summerwood Primary School’s star swimmer, Jenna Biddulph, was nominated for Sport Elizabeth’s annual Homegrowing Hero award this month. The Sport Elizabeth Homegrowing Hero awards, in association with Spar Eastern Cape and Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, took place on Saturday, 11 March. The black-tie event honours school children who are excelling and making a name for themselves and their schools in sport. Jenna walked away with the Reader’s Choice Award, proving her popularity and Homegrowing Hero status. Jenna, a Grade 7 learner, has always been one of Summerwood’s top swimmers, with her breaking multiple swimming records earlier this term at the inter-house gala. We look forward to seeing a lot more of Jenna in future. Summerwood is bursting with pride!
