The Kenridge U/13 A cricket team had an extremely successful season during 2014, remaining unbeaten in the league throughout the term. The highlight of the year at this stage has been playing at Sahara Park, Newlands, in the ‘U/13 Feedem Pitseng 15 Over Knock-out’ semi final. The boys showed immense resilience and determination whilst playing in extreme heat. Unfortunately, we were outplayed by an extremely talented Western Province Cricket Club, but the boys never gave up and showed true Kenridge character. Heads were held high and the boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves in what was a life changing experience at the home of cricket in Cape Town. Francois Joubert won the Best Batsman Award on the day. Well done, ‘French’!
