This is done to honour the founder of the Brownies, Lord Baden Powell, and and his wife, Olave Baden Powell’s joint birthdays on 22 February. It is also World Thinking Day, celebrated annually. It is a day when they think about their ‘sisters’ (and ‘brothers’) in all the countries of the world, the meaning of guiding, and its global impact.

Faith Like Potatoes director visits our school Frans Cronjé, movie director of Faith Like Potatoes, visited assembly on 13 February. He brought a very special message for old and young: Achieving your dreams. A peek preview of his newest movie, The Roar, was enjoyed by all.

Valentine’s Day Dance

The Grade 6s and 7s enjoyed their first Valentine’s Day Dance. A lot of good music, laughter and sparkling eyes were at the order on the night of love.
