The results were exceptionally close, with Team Mercury (Eunbi Lee, Sanam Maharaj-Mojarad, Kelly Williams, Dylan Kannemeyer, Anna Kotschy and Nishai Veerapa) taking first place in 50% of the categories. Team Wild Hogs (Jonathan Pienaar, Cian Cooper, Calvin Jean-Jacques and Ryan Clark) took first place in the remaining 50% of the categories. Team Wild Hogs narrowly defeated their arch rivals, Team Mercury, by a mere 11 points.
Cricket sensation Matthew Gouws has scored the highest 1st XI score in the history of Fourways High School with 170 in his team’s 395/9 vs Krugersdorp on 15 October! Krugersdorp was bowled out for 185, giving Fourways a 220-run win.
Fast 5 Netball Huge congratulations to Fourways High School Netball on winning Bronze in the Junior section and Silver in the Senior section of the St. Stithians Fast 5 League.

Debating Fourways High School Juniors made it through to the quarter-finals of the GSDB provincial competition, where they were unfortunately knocked out by Crawford Sandton. Congratulations to three of our speakers who were selected to the Gauteng Junior team: Andrew Bradfield and Tarryn Niewoudt will represent Gauteng in Limpopo at the SASDB National tournament, while Kerry Backes is a reserve for the team. Our senior team won the GSDB Plate final. Kerry Backes, Andrew Bradfield and Tarryn Niewoudt. Well done to all.
