Matric 2017 Top Achiever Results Northcliff High School is extremely proud of the Matric Class of 2017. 286 students sat the matriculation exams and there were no failures. 80.4% of the students satisfied the criteria for entrance to a Bachelor’s Degree course at university. There were 222 distinctions in total. Of the 17 subjects that were written at the school, 14 had an average above 60%. In the other subjects, the averages were above 55%. NHS’s top subject was history, which had a grade average of 71%. Our top students are Christopher Conroy and Ralishini Munsamy, who both achieved 8 distinctions. 4 students achieved 7 distinctions, 5 students achieved 6 distinctions and 4 students achieved 5 distinctions. Northcliff High is consistently rated as one of the top feeder schools for the major universities. Our ex-students cope very well with the rigors of university study and we see university success rates over 85%.

Engineering Graphics and Design achievement! Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) matrics from Fourways have done exceptionally well by achieving the highest results in the province for their 2017 year. Fourways High and their teacher, Anthony Clayton, are very proud of their achievements and have put EGD on the map for the school. Well done to an outstanding effort by the pupils. The children’s futures definitely look bright indeed.
