Outdoor education at Jonginenge
Mega champion
Learning all about conservation and the wonderful ocean life that surrounds our beautiful city, our girls delight in the hands-on approach to outdoor education they receive at Jonginenge.
Kendra Benneck will be taking part in the U14 Event after attaining 1st position in the U14 100m event at the High School Mega Championships.
EC shotput Logan Lottering qualified to take part in the U13 shotput event in the Eastern Cape Championships in Cradock.
Children’s Day Children’s Day raised money for charity and we had lots of fun doing it. This year our charities of choice were CHOC and PetPals.

Water polo Our U13 girls have improved tremendously this term. They beat Stirling Girls in the Primary School league after a very close encounter. Clarendon came through as champions with a 2–1 win.

Atletiek Laerskool Grens se atlete het hulle slag gewys op die atletiekbaan by die Oos-Kaapbyeenkoms in Cradock op 4 Maart 2017
On Wednesday, 1 March 41 Clarendon rowers boarded a flight to OR Tambo. This was the start of a very exciting trip to participate in the South African Schools Rowing Championships, which took place on the Roodeplaat Dam in Pretoria. The championships took place over three days and the weather was perfect for rowing. The Clarendon girls did us proud and managed to bring back five medals: • U16 Scull: Silver: Sarah King • U14 Octopule: Silver: Cherise Dicke, Demi-Ann Maker, Mia Harvey, Macayla Potgieter, Amber Jacoby, Rachel Forsyth, Caitlin Elliott, Bunono Rantjie, Erin Easey • U15 Octopule: Gold: Amy Newey, Morgan Deutschman, Rozanne Kruger, Emily Sparg, Quinta Kieck, Nikita van Rooi, Eden Krug, Mia Scheepers, Jessica Shadwell • U16 Quad: Bronze: Lauren Ferrant, Tynneqa Jefferies, Sarah King, Amy Strydom, Erin Karshagen • U16 Double: Bronze: Sarah King and Amy Strydom Congratulations to the girls with their excellent performance. The hours and hours of training paid off and we are very proud of you all.
