National All Girls Aquatics Festival Clarendon High School attended the National All Girls Aquatics Festival in Pretoria. This year the festival was hosted by Pretoria Girls High School. The Aquatics team consisted of 30 first team girls who participated in swimming and water polo. The gala consisted of mostly relay events. Our girls swam really well. Out of 10 all-girls schools, we placed tied 3rd overall, winning 8 medals (4 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze). (In 2016, we were placed 8th.) The water polo team also played really well. In the pool games, they won 2 and lost 1, therefore coming 2nd in their pool. In the semifinal they narrowly lost to St Stithians (3–4). They therefore played for 3rd and 4th place against Durban Girls College. Unfortunately they lost 4–6, which placed them 4th overall.
