CLARENDON PREPARATORY SCHOOL Clarendon traditions Our 2007 Grade 3 Preppies were invited back for a special Matric assembly at the end of the third term. They received good wishes for their upcoming exams and each Matric received the very prestigious Merit Pencil.

Rhino Day

Ketchen Day Our little ladybird house captains buzzed around their cake sale last term in aid of the Canaan Care Centre. Good work, girls!

Open book day

Our girls spent a day showing their appreciation for life beyond the classroom. Camo was the theme as we celebrated World Rhino Day and helped rais funds towards the preservation of these great animals.

Water Polo We are proud of our girls who have been selected for the Border Water Polo Team to take part in the Nationals in Durban in December.

Riding Our riders competed in the Border Equestrian Inter-Schools’ Competition. Results Clarendon High Olympic • 1st Turnout • 1st Dressage • 2nd Handy Hunter • 3rd Jumping Clarendon High Hickstead • 1st Jumping • 2nd Turnout Clarendon High Olympic came first overall and Clarendon High Hickstead came 3rd overall.

Water Polo Clarendon High School hosted the Stayers u/15A and 1st team Water Polo Tournament. Our 1st team placed third overall. Clarendon u/15A faced Clarendon u/14A in the final. A well matched, outstanding game from both teams led to a draw. The winner had to be decided on a penalty shoot out. The u/14A team (below) won the shootout and were placed first in the tournament.
