On 13 January, Grade 8 parents were invited to join their daughters and NGHS staff at a braai at the school. Thereafter, the Grade 8 girls had their very first NGHS sleepover, where special friendships were formed. This served as another assurance to parents that their daughters are well taken care of and supported at NGHS.
Special assembly held for Class of 2016 “With privilege comes responsibility; use your knowledge to improve the world.” This was the message Mr Andrew Graaf, Principal at Northlands Girls’ High School, shared with the school’s 51 top achievers during a special assembly on 16 January. After the success of yet another 100% pass rate in the 2016 NSC examinations, the majority of the school’s top achievers, together with their families and loved ones, got together in the NGHS hall for a final congratulations and farewell from their high school.
