for basketball, that the KZN boys showed their true character. After Recently, Durban High School basketball players Brian Cele, Latrell being down 10 points in the first half, the team started to play more of a Beukes, Archange Kalonji, Sicelo Dzingwa, Grace Lufungwa and defence tactic and outran the opposition. their coach, Letha Zulu, returned as KZN representatives from the annual basketball Ashraf tournament hosted by the University of Witwatersrand. Placed in pool D, the DHS boys were playing amongst some talented players whom they had previously challenged. The first game saw the KZN team taking on the Kimberly Diamonds, who are currently part of the Basketball National League and took the win with a score of 47-25. However, in the second game, with the high level of tactic shown by the Goodfellaz from Johannesburg, the KZN team sadly could not claim the win, with a score of 32-54. The next few games were challenging, but KZN managed to take keep up their good spirits, winning against Jozi Nuggets (58-29) and MSA Kings (53-37). It was only in the final game, played against Wits, the hosting team that is placed 3rd in the country Brian Cele, Latrell Beukes, Archange Kalonji, Sicelo Dzingwa and Grace Lufungwa.
