Twiceloved Tip It’s a good idea to test drill on a spare plate before you start.

Tape the centre of the plate on both surfaces. Find the centre of the plate using the ruler and mark with a cross.

Place the plate on a firm level surface and pour in a little water. With your friend holding the rim of the plate steady you are now ready to drill slowly, slowly through the plate.

Assembly is easy; the white pad sits against the plate and the metal washer against the rod. Use a non-slip mat to help tighten each join.
