Š Anna Ajtner Photo Group Exhibition - Amsterdam 2017 The title of this exhibition comes from the name of an international photo group. The group was established 2013 and is still growing. It was created for the purpose of an exhibition which travelled Poland. The creator and curator of the exhibition was Anna Ajtner and of course the mothers who contributed their photographs. Since its beginning the group has been exclusively represented by photographing mothers who record and interpret their child's childhood. The authors are often the winners of prestigious photographic prizes. There are over 3000 (!) active photographers from all over the world at "Through a mother's eyes photography". At the exhibition in Amsterdam we will choose our favourites on the basis of the competition of 20 authors, who all represent the group with their work. From each one we chose one of the best works and this work will be exposed in the Polish Library Amsterdam (Keizersgracht 174-176 1016 DW Amsterdam). The exhibition will be opened with a vernissage on October 28th at 6 pm will last until

the beginning of December. This will be a small treat for the connoisseurs of photography and the possibility to move in time as well as into their own childhood, because probably no one of the recipients will identify with the actors of this spectacle. In the future we also intend to organize an international children's photography festival. We cordially invite you on behalf of the group “Through the mother's eyes photography”, the Polish Library and the Photography Club of Amsterdam! https://www.facebook.com/Through-a-mothers-eyes-photographyexhibition-887681764716502/ https://throughamotherseye.wixsite.com/exhibition " The look "through the mother's eye" allows great photographic insights into the magical and sacred world of childhood. The unity of mother and child here is in the creative process, as it shows itself in a sparkling and stunning variety of 20 original works from 20 international artists/Agnieszka Taupitz, Alicja Pietras, Egle Laurinavice, Emilia Wilgosz -Peter, Fleur Spek, Claudia Cabrero, Katarzyna Załużna, Fifi Bristoche, Jana Tolaszová Tichá, Katarína Fiona Grajcaríková, Kinga Drążek, Joanna Graczyk, Anna Sznajder, Anna Węcel, Joanna Grzyl, Beata Blaszczyk, Danica Sherry, Sam Lee 'lz Jelena Osmolovska, Milou Krietemeijer-Dirks/. Their pictures are awesome, delicate, lively, romantic, intimate, impressive, catchy, funny and sweet. Take a chance while the exhibition lasts! Does it make a difference? Of course it does. Have you seen those parents who rather stare at their "smart phones" in public while their child (in a buggy) is discovering the world with its own eyes. "Through the Mother's Eye" puts things back into balance by focussing on the child and thus re-installs the grace, health and dignity often lacking in our culture today. Congratulations! Surely this exhibition will go a long way. " - Karsten Wolff
