This catalogue specialises in night vision (digital & image intensified), thermal imaging and day optics solutions for the UK & ROI marketplace, with products ranging from binoculars, monoculars, binoculars, rifle scopes, laser rangefinders and related accessories.

New additions include the highly anticipated, ultra-compact Axion XM30S and Axion Key XM22 Thermal Imaging Monoculars (see page 12) as well as two new rechargeable IPS Battery Packs, the IPS7 & 14 (see page 21), which offer increased operation time when compared to previous models and finally the Pulsar Flat Glass Mount (see pages 22), which allows the operator to mount their optical unit to various flat surfaces for no-hands operation.

APS BATTERY CHARGER

Thermal Sensor Designation Pulsar Thermal units feature either a XM, XQ or XP within their model designation. This refers to which thermal sensor they use. XM models have a 320x240 12µm sensor, XQ models have a 384x288 17µm sensor and XP models a 640x480 17µm sensor.

The new XM thermal sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch results in images having smoother edges and more detailed heat mapping, which in turn offers a greater ability to recognise and identify objects. The smaller pixel pitch and sensor also helps to reduce the physical overall size of the unit.

B-Pack Mini System The new Thermion and Axion models are powered by the B-Pack Mini System. The Thermion can be powered by either the rechargeable APS2, 2.0Ah battery pack or a APS3, 3.2Ah battery pack, which provides longer run times. The Axion is only compatible with the APS3.

B-Pack System Many of Pulsar’s products are powered by the B-Pack System, which consists of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 5.2 Ah battery pack, designed to deliver up to 13 hours of operation on maximum mode. Higher-Powered IPS14 battery packs also provide a perfect off-the-grid power solution. Also, available now is the 3x AA battery holder that has been designed to replace the B-Pack units provided with devices and holds 3x standard AA batteries.

The Thermion Thermal Imaging Weapon Scope Series features some of the latest thermal imaging technology, packaged in a familiar dayscope format that mounts using standard 30mm scope rings. The Thermion XM38 and XM50 are fitted with a new 320x240 12µm thermal sensor and the XP38 and XP50, a 640x480 17µm thermal sensor. Detection ranges are between 1350m-2300m, depending on the model. XM models have a 4x smooth digital zoom and XP models a 8x smooth digital zoom capability.

This fully waterproof (IPX7) device has a fast start-up and a full-colour HD 1024x768 AMOLED Display, featuring 8 colour palettes, picture-in-picture mode and a wide array of adjustable reticles. The Thermion Series has a dual-power system, consisting of an internal, built-in (APS3) battery and a removeable APS2 battery, providing a long-lasting performance. There is the option to purchase a larger capacity APS3 battery to use instead.

The Thermion can also record video, with sound, and capture still images in .mp4 and .jpg formats respectively and has 16GB of internal storage. This state-of-the-art thermal imaging weapon scope is also Stream Vision compatible.

THERMAL IMAGING WEAPON SCOPES

TRAIL LRF SERIES Models LRF XQ38 / LRF XQ50 / LRF XP50

The Trail LRF Series of Thermal Imaging Weapon Scopes are designed for long distance and high accuracy shooting and feature a built-in eyesafe laser rangefinder accurate to ±1m at 1000m.

With either a 640x480 17µm (XP) or 384x288 17µm (XQ) thermal sensor, the Trail LRF’s offer detection ranges up to 1800m. The XP and XQ models have identical features and software, it is only the sensor and digital magnification that vary. A 50Hz frame rate ensures smooth viewing of moving targets.

XP models feature 8x digital magnification with a picture-in-picture (PiP) facility allowing for the field of view to be maintained, whilst displaying a magnified area of the reticle. The XQ models feature 4x digital magnification and have the same (PiP) functionality.

The built-in accelerometer/gyroscope aids shooters by notifying them of a ‘cant’ greater than 5°, as well as performing an auto-shutdown when in a non-firing/resting position for power conservation.

The Trail LRF Series have a choice of reticles in a variety of colours and types, all of which have programmable brightness.

Comfortable Observation The human brain is pre-conditioned to receive visual information from two channels simultaneously. When one eye is used to observe, the brain only receives information from a single input. The increased effort from the brain to override the standard algorithm of visual perception can quickly lead to the observer feeling fatigued and uncomfortable. The Accolades’ dual eyepiece configuration reduces eye fatigue during longer viewing times.

The Accolade Series of thermal imaging binoculars (two eyepieces, one objective lens), feature a high resolution 640x480 17µm (XP) and 384x288 17µm (XQ) thermal sensor and are suited to prolonged observation with a detection range of up to 1800m, depending on the model. The Accolade LRF variants have a built-in eyesafe laser rangefinder accurate to ±1m at 1000m.

The twin eyepiece with variable-interpupillary distance provides comfortable viewing over longer periods of time. The picture-inpicture mode allows for a second magnified area without reducing the field-of-view. When in power save mode (Display Off) the Axion can be started instantly. The instant start-up helps to save energy thus prolonging operating time. The unit can be kept in a pocket, bag or jacket and then rapidly activated when needed.

XM30S

The Axion Thermal Imaging Monocular Series consists of three models, the Key XM22, Key XM30 and the XM30S and can detect up to 1200m. These robust thermal imaging monoculars have an ultra-lightweight, compact and waterproof (IPX7) magnesium bodyshell that makes them a good choice for the rigours of field-use.

The Axion Series utilises highly sophisticated 320x240 12µm thermal sensors with a 50Hz refresh rate, providing exceptional image quality, more detailed heat mapping and a greater ability to recognise and identify objects (when compared to an equivalent sized sensor with a 17µm pixel pitch). It also allows these thermal imaging monoculars to have such a compact size. Each unit is fitted with a high resolution 960x720 LCOS (Axion Key) or a 1024x768 AMOLED Sony (Axion XM30S) viewing screen that can perform in both hot and freezing temperatures. The XM30S model is Stream Vision compatible and features on-board photo capture (JPEG) and video recording (1024x768) with audio. The captured data is stored in the unit’s 16GB internal memory.

All unit’s have an instant start-up and ‘Display Off’ function and can operate up to 4 continuous hours due to their dedicated, rechargeable APS3 Battery Packs, which can be charged with a MicroUSB cable via the unit or with the APS battery Charger.

Picture-in-Picture All Axion units include a Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode, six colours modes (White Hot, Black Hot, Hot Red, Rainbow, Ultramarine and Sepia) and a built-in stadiametric rangefinder that allows for the approximate distance measurement of known objects, aiding in target acquisition and aiming.

The Helion Series are sophisticated Thermal Imaging Monoculars designed with sensitive 384x288 (XQ) or 640x480 (XP) 17µm thermal sensors, capable of detecting up to 1800m. Quick Transformation

THERMAL IMAGING FRONT ATTACHMENTS

The Core FXQ38 BW/ FXQ50 BW is a standalone thermal imaging monocular and a front attachment for a day weapon scope or observation device. The included removable eyepiece allows for a quick transformation in a matter of seconds.

CORE SERIES Models FXQ38 BW / FXQ50 BW

The New Core FXQ BW series has a 384x288 17µm thermal sensor and a new black and white 640x480 AMOLED display. This Thermal Front Attachment (TFA) allows users to convert their day scope into a thermal imager, whilst maintaining zero and a natural shooting position. The Core FXQ attaches easily to the front of most day scopes using DN cover ring adaptors that are available (separately) in 42, 50 and 56mm sizes (see accessories page). Each adaptor comes with inserts to suit different size objective lens housings. Once the Cover Ring Adaptor is installed on a day scope they can remain in place for daytime shooting; and they come with a lens cap.

The Core FXQ is extremely versatile; in addition to its weapon scope functions it can also be used as an independent monocular. The supplied eyepiece converts the Core FXQ into a 3.1x or 4.1x (depending on model) monocular.

EYESAFE IR Illuminator

FORWARD F455

The Forward F455 enables users to convert their day weapon scope into a highly accurate NV weapon scope. This inline front attachment quickly and easily attaches to most weapon scopes, foregoes the need for re-zeroing and retains a shooters natural shooting position.

Equipped with an interchangeable/detachable LED 940nm eyesafe IR illuminator, which offers quality long distance illumination for the already highly sensitive 1280x720 CMOS sensor, resulting in a night vision attachment with detailed image capturing. Removing the IR Illuminator reveals a weaver rail to attach compatible IR Illuminators and accessories to.

B-Pack Power System The B-Pack power system allows for quick battery replacements in the field.

The IPS7 and IPS14 give up to 13 and 26 hours respectively of operating time.

Stream Vision and the B-Pack power system are also present on the Forward F455. The FN Cover Ring Adaptors (available separately) with four locking points attach the unit to the front of day scopes. Available in 42, 50 and 56mm (see accessories page), each adaptor comes with inserts to suit different size objective lens housings. Once installed on a day scope they can remain in place for daytime shooting and come with a lens cap. The F455 is optimised for dayscope magnifications between 2-8x.

Increased Reticle Adjustment Range The Digisight Ultra’s total vertical and horizontal travel range equates to two metres at 100m – on average 25% more than in previous Pulsar models. This increased total adjustment range allows zeroing at close and far distances and installing the weapon scope on rifles chambered in calibres with steep ballistic trajectories without changing mounts and rails.

The new Digisight Ultra N450 Digital Night Vision Weapon Scope features a full HD 1280x720 CMOS sensor and a HD 1024x768 frost proof AMOLED display, which provides excellent night time sensitivity.

The N450 has a native magnification of 4.5x and a 4x smooth (or a 2x/4x fast) digital zoom giving up to 18x total magnification. Also included is a picture-in-picture (PiP) function where just 10% of the viewfinder shows a magnified area of the reticle centre, the remaining 90% provides a wide field of view at the scopes minimum magnification.

Accurate Zoom Zeroing

Scalable Ballistic Reticles

The Digisight Ultra can be zeroed at its native magnification and then fine adjustments made using the digital magnification, with the click value decreasing as the overall magnification increases. At the maximum magnification, each click is 0.025 MRAD (~0.09MOA). The aiming point remains stable throughout the entire range of magnifications.

Ballistic reticles are scaled proportionally to weapon scopes magnification changes, similar to the reticles placed in the first focal plane of optical sights. Angular dimensions of reticles’ parts remain unchanged at all magnifications, which allows quick measuring of distance and adjusting when shooting at various ranges.

The Sightline Series of Digital Night Vision Weapon Scopes are a new addition to the Yukon range. As a digital device they are resistant to bright light exposure. They are available as either a 4x or 6x magnification unit, both with a 4x digital zoom, providing a total magnification of 16x and 24x respectively.

This range finder measures distance in metres or yards, as well as by still or slow moving targets. The device is certified as eye-safe, has high accuracy, a fast measurement time and low power consumption, working well in cold weather conditions.

RETICLES The Jaeger scopes are available with a choice of reticles. The 1.5-6x42 is available with a choice of two reticles: X01i & T01i. The 1-4x24 is available with four reticles: X01i, T01i, HB01i & CT01i. The 3-9x40 and 3-12x56 are available with five reticles: X01i, X02i, MV02i, T01i & M01.
