Precipitation, humidity, fog, cloud cover, temperature and the physical area of observation all have an impact on viewing ranges. No two image intensifier tubes are identical and consequently two of the same night vision device may perform differently to each other.

digital night vision Monoculars The Recon 870 series of digital night vision monoculars offers great performance with a technology that is resistant to bright light exposure. All of the Recon Series come with a built-in 915nm covert eyesafe laser IR illuminator which is invisible to the human eye. All Recons have a mount fitting which combines a ¼“ tripod socket (to enable tripod mounting), as well as a Weaver short rail to enable mounting different accessories, including auxiliary IRs, sound amplification and other systems. Pulsar are the first to bring a thermal front attachment to the hunting market in the UK. The Core FXD50 fits to the objective lens of a dayscope converting it into a highly sensitive thermal imaging device. Supplied with an Eyepiece the Core FXD50 can also be used as a hand-held spotter offering 2.8x magnification giving a man size detection range of 1200m.
