Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.

Additionally, some countries may be embargoed and no thermal imagers or night vision devices may be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.

THERMAL SENSOR DESIGNATION

Pulsar Thermal units feature either an XM, XQ, XP, XG or XL prefix within their model designation. This refers to which thermal sensor they use.

XM models have a 320x240, 12µm thermal sensor / XQ models have a 384x288, 17µm thermal sensor / XG models have a 640x480, 12µm thermal sensor / XP models have a 640x480, 17µm thermal sensor / NEW XL models have a 1024x768, 12µm thermal sensor.

THERMAL IMAGING MONOCULARS

AXION XM30F

Pulsar’s most accessible thermal imaging device to date, the entry level Axion XM30F is a lightweight and compact yet robust device, with a 320x240, 12µm, <50mK NETD thermal sensor providing a detection range upto 1300m, and a quick-change rechargeable battery that delivers up to 7 hours of power (depending on temperature) on a single charge. The Axion XM30F also features an integrated still image and video recorder with audio, 16GB storage, and Stream Vision 2 compatibility.

AXION 2 XG SERIES

Axion 2 XG35 / Axion 2 LRF XG35

The Axion 2 XG series introduces the first handheld thermal imaging monoculars in the Pulsar range to feature the powerful 640x480, 12µm, <40mK NETD thermal imaging sensor: the Axion 2 XG35 and the Axion 2 LRF XG35. Combining this thermal sensor with a 35mm f1.0 germanium objective lens enables these thermal monoculars to achieve detection ranges reaching up to 1750m, presenting crystal clear images onto 1024x768 HD AMOLED displays — larger than those found in the XQ series. The Axion 2 LRF XG35 features a built-in laser rangefinder that will enable accurate distance measurements between user and observed object at a range of up to 1000m with an accuracy of ±1m.

MERGER LRF XL50

The Merger LRF XL50 is the first pair of thermal imaging binoculars to incorporate a powerful 1024x768, 12µm, <40mK NETD thermal sensor, which, combined with a 50mm f1.0 objective lens, ushers in the next level of thermal imaging. They will achieve a consistently highresolution image, even at their highest level of magnification (20x).

The Merger LRF XL50 will retain excellent, high quality thermal imagery across its entire 2.5x-20.0x magnification range, offering improved focus and better object recognition over long distances than any other pair of thermal imaging binoculars. A smooth digital zoom allows a user to change the device’s magnification by 2x steps or continuously for a fully customisable field of view that can be altered to match any situation.

Converting standard day optics into fully-fledged, highly sensitive thermal imaging devices, the Proton front attachment produces smooth, high quality thermal imaging through a 384x288, 17µm thermal sensor — providing a detection range of up to 900m and presenting crystal clear thermal imagery onto a frost-resistant 1024x768 HD AMOLED display for an exceptional viewing experience.

Optimised for dayscopes with 1.5-4.0x native magnification, the Proton is available in two models: the FXQ30 and the XQ30 (which comes with the 5x30 B Monocular for handheld use). Both require a PSP Adaptor to fit to a dayscope (sold separately). The 5x30 B Monocular is also available separately.

KRYPTON 2 SERIES

The Krypton 2 series features two new front attachments: the FXG50 and FXQ35. Each device will seamlessly transform day optics into a fully-fledged thermal imaging device, and features a new, more compact design which repositions the battery to the centre of the unit in order to achieve better weight distribution once mounted to a riflescope. Enhancing the shooting experience even further, the Krypton 2 series features an all-new customisable user interface — allowing users to scale the menu and status bar in the scope’s FOV. For outstanding identification capabilities, the FXG50 features a 640x480, 12µm, <40mK NETD and a 50mm f1.0 objective lens, providing a detection range of up to 2300m; and the FXQ35 features a 384x288, 17µm, <25mK NETD thermal sensor and a 35mm f1.0 objective lens, achieving a 1300m detection range.

TALION XQ38

The Talion XQ38 features a sensitive 384x288, 17µm, <40mK NETD thermal sensor, providing a detection range of up to 1350m. Incredibly lightweight at only 700g, this riflescope features an ergonomic, ambidextrous design that incorporates an innovative fin lever, enabling fast focusing to 70m by aligning the fin with the ridge on the riflescope’s housing. The magnesium alloy housing can withstand adverse conditions whilst serving as a heat sink to extract warmth generated by the inner electronics.

The interchangeable and rechargeable APS5T battery provides up to 9 hours of power, and the embossed battery cover helps to accurately identify the correct battery position in darkness. Featuring improved ergonomics, all controls have been placed on the top panel of the eyepiece, simplifying access and increasing the convenience for both right and lefthanded users.

The Thermion 2 LRF series features three powerful thermal imaging riflescopes: the Thermion 2 LRF XQ50 Pro, the Thermion 2 LRF XG50 Pro, and the Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro. THERMION DUO SERIES

Duo DXP50 / Duo DXP55

The Thermion Duo series introduces the first multispectral thermal imaging riflescopes to the Pulsar range with the Thermion Duo DXP50 and the Thermion Duo DXP55. Both offer the detection capabilities of thermal imaging through a 640x480, 17µm, <25mK NETD thermal sensor and the identification capabilities of day optics through a 3840x2160 4K CMOS sensor.

These intuitive new riflescopes will achieve accurate colour rendering in the day — with the Thermion Duo DXP50’s optical channel offering a 2.0x native magnification, and the Thermion Duo DXP55’s optical channel offering a 4.0x native magnification. The 50mm f1.0 objective lens found on each riflescope’s thermal channel provides 2.0x magnification and a long detection range of up to 1800m during the day and in darkness.

Transforming standard day optics into fully-fledged digital night vision devices, the Forward F455S & FN455S digital front attachments are both fitted with a 1280x720 HD CMOS sensor and frost-resistant 1746x1000 HD AMOLED display, achieving detailed night-time viewing at distances of up to 500m (when observing a 1.8m tall human- or deer-shaped object). For improved visibility in low-light environments, both devices include a removable invisible (eyesafe) 940nm LED IR illuminator, which is now 3x more powerful than previous iterations.

The Forward series uses FN Cover Ring Adaptors (sold separately) to fit to day optics. The FN455S model comes with a 5x30 Monocular, allowing the Forward to be converted into a digital night vision monocular with ease. Both models now come with a BT wireless controller for quick settings changes.

The Digex C50 digital night vision riflescope can be used 24/7. A powerful 1928x1088 FHD CMOS sensor and SumLight™ technology increases its ability to observe large amounts of detail during the night in black & white. In daylight or twilight, a full colour image is presented onto a 1024x768 HD AMOLED viewfinder thanks to this riflescope’s revolutionary dualaperture lens system.

The Digex C50 combines its sensor with a large 50mm f1.4 objective lens to achieve crystal clear optics at a range of up to 550m. This objective lens provides a 3.5x-14x native magnification (x4 digital zoom) and a 6.7° field of view for excellent observation capabilities. An intelligent dual battery system (internal rechargeable battery and a rechargeable APS2 battery pack) offers up to 10 hours of power. The removable battery is embossed for easy removal and replacement in total darkness. Available as Wi-Fi and non-Wi-Fi enabled models.
