50th Annual Wayne County Antiques Show 50th anniversaries are special, golden, memorable. On July 14 and 15, the Wayne County Antiques Show will take place in Honesdale for the 50th consecutive year. Because this milestone is so special, Honesdale’s Women’s Club will host a 50th Anniversary Celebration & Preview Gala on Friday, the 13th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The $15 ticket includes food, drinks and a weekend pass to the antiques show. Tickets, which are limited, can be purchased by calling (570) 253-3625. Sponsored by the Women’s Club of Honesdale, the Wayne County Antiques Show features dealers and goods from across the eastern U.S. You’ll find incredible furniture, decorative arts, fixtures, linens, textiles, jewelry books, scientific items, collectibles, quilts, coins, Depression glass, porcelain, artifacts and more. Renowned certified antique appraiser Linda Roberts will be on hand to evaluate up to three items per person, for $5 an item with a copy of this magazine. The show also features homemade refreshments and free parking. All proceeds are used to fund scholarship, arts and literature programs, community beautification programs and local charities.
